Rejected once. Free forever.A free logo for IT teams
A command prompt for your IT team, drawn on graph paper from nothing but squares. Download it in any format or size and put it on shirts, help desk signs, intranet pages, Slack or Teams icons, stickers and slides. It’s in the public domain: no sign-up, no credit, no catch.
In 2025, my employer offered to buy shirts for the IT team. I wanted a small mark under the official company logo to show which team we were, and I drew this.
It’s a prompt. I’ve been at a keyboard since PC DOS 2.1 on an IBM PCjr, drifted to graphical interfaces for years, and came back to the command line once Claude Code and tools like it arrived. IT> is our team’s prompt, waiting for input.
Approval belonged to someone who looks after the whole company, and they read it as “IT greater than.” That reading alone may have sunk it. It went nowhere. It happens. No big deal.
But I’m a little feisty sometimes, so I registered rejectedlogo.com and set the logo free for anyone who wants it.
Anyone can redraw it
Stack 1:1 squares on a grid. The I is one square wide and three tall. The T is three across, with two more down the middle. The > is an L, three squares each way, turned to point right and centered on the other letters. Leave one square between letters. If every file here vanished, almost anyone could redraw it from this paragraph.
Download the IT logo
Black and white versions in every common format, plus a square icon of the > for avatars, app icons and browser tabs. Or take everything in one ZIP (77 KiB).
Any color, any size, with or without a background. It all happens in your browser.
Free for anything
